I hope I’d read this if I were to encounter midlife crisis, or when I am old and frail.
The question of the day is , how long you want to live on this planet?
What would you do if you have 100 years to live?
Can you bear with all the sickness that made us mortal? Atherosclerosis and osteoporosis will plague every human being.
Men will need to heed the call every hour or so at night , they can stand tall but their body wont.
Women will have joint aches till the point of putting make-up a challenge rather than a task. Their tenderness will remain but their body wont.
As the saying goes, “Everything goes down except your age”
Gone will be the days when your hormone determine who you are.

I wouldnt want to live that long considering the illnesses that I’d get when I reach that stage.
If I am that unlucky lucky to live that long, I’d say that the first quarter of it should be lived to the fullest. This is the only time when we can afford to be naive, selfish, careless and irresponsible.
This is when I have time to buy, and time to lose myself.
” Focus and dont think about playing during studies. Enjoy and dont bother about studies during holidays “
These are my dad’s advise to both me and my brother since we were kids.
I’ve always followed his advise especially on the second part.
But lately, I am very focus on my studies too! Hehe. I try to keep a balance too.
I’ve always go for my crave on adrenaline during my holidays. I dont know why, normal things just bores me. Haha. Or maybe I knew deep inside, I wont be doing such morbid stuffs when I have a family. That would be very irresponsible.
Here is what I’ve try to kill myself done so far

White water rafting – CHECK
I swallowed at least 2L of water when the boat capsized while holding onto the Japanese kid.

Advance open water diving – CHECK
And if, if….
If I am to live to 100 hundred years, I’d really want to try…

skydiving

and space travel.

Gone will be the days when your hormone determine who you are.
How long you wish to live?

“Everything goes down except your age” This is so true. I think how long we lives doesn’t matter! What matters was we must live our life to the fullest even is a short life.
” Focus and dont think about playing during studies. Enjoy and dont bother about studies during holidays “ Your father was right too! A new quote that i could learn! Hehe..

Living till 100…sounds tough. Forget osteoperosis….having someone call you “old-fashion” is painful enough…

I think it’s not the age that matters, but it’s how fulfilling your life is.

Amen, Gallivanter!
If I were to live till 100 senile and grew old ungracefully.. remind me to apply for euthanasia.

I’ve never heard of anyone who lived a fulfilling live…there’s always something to do, somewhere to go, to see, to buy, to eat…always something.
Look at Bill Gates, World’s richest guy…and yet he still want to earn more money by monopolizing the market. If HE is not satisfied, I don’t anyone can ever be…

gallivanter : thanks for dropping by.
It does depend on age how much we are fulfilled. A 5 year old kid can be fulfilled by icecream, 15 year old by the latest handphone…so on n so forth till we reach our peak of our desire at around 45-50. Then it gradually gets down i guess. I am not there yet, so I dont know.
A 70year old will be very fulfilled to see their grandkids learning to walk.
.
And it doesnt necessary depend on how long we live.
witch : then u gotta find a country that approves it first. Start looking now and send me the list!

Before you think that you’d just fulfilled something..there’s always a lust to be desired for.
