Went for souvenir shopping for my mum. She placed an order for a matrioshka doll a month ago.
Its interesting how she was fascinated by these kind of dolls with smaller ‘duplicates’ in decreasing size within it. Usually the price goes according to how much ‘duplicates’ in a doll or according to the craftmanship.
But thats another case, I have been shipping these matrioshka dolls for mum since first year. Collectively, it has been up to 20 dolls brought back. Of course, not all are displayed at home, mum will give most of them to our relatives and some to her colleagues and chose the best color for herself (not according to the amount of duplicates or the craftmanship). Mum likes bright red..thats her criteria.
This year, I went to Аллея Героев (Alley of Heroes) to get her the doll. I didnt ask for the best designer piece, i didnt ask for how many duplicates are there in a doll . I just saw this and took it. This piece of bright red of doll. Hope she likes it. Its 250rubbles by the way.

Ehhh.. never seen this post before. Nice matrioshkas.. but why the background like that? Cracked walls and dirty pillows LOL
